FREE public transport for Queen Concert
When: From Wednesday 26 February 2020
The Queen and Adam Lambert 'The Rhapsody' tour will be held at Adelaide Oval, 8.30pm Wednesday 26 February 2020. Gates open at 6.30pm.
Leave the car at home and catch a FREE train, tram or bus from 4pm with your valid ticket.

Bus services
Adelaide Oval Express bus services will be operating before the match to the following Pre-match AOX Timetable (PDF 162KB), and after the event.
Express bus services will set down at the Interchange (PDF 172KB) on King William Road, with some services using Victoria Drive and Sir Edwin Smith Avenue.
Patrons can also access free travel from 4pm on regular Adelaide Metro bus services with a valid ticket. View regular bus services to Adelaide Oval (123KB).
Regional buses will drop off and pick up on Pennington Terrace.
Train services
Additional train services will be operating after the event.
Patrons can also access free travel from 4pm on regular Adelaide Metro train services with a valid ticket.
Tram services
Additional tram services will be operating after the event.
Patrons can also access free travel from 4pm on regular Adelaide Metro tram services with a valid ticket.
The closest tram stops to Adelaide Oval are:
- Festival Plaza Tram Stop on King Williams Road (which only operates on weekends and for Adelaide Oval special events).
- Adelaide Railway Station Tram Stop on North Terrace.

Tram travel tips:
Check the destination sign! Electronic destination signs are located on the front and side of all trams. Always check these signs to ensure you’re boarding the correct service to get to where you need to go.
Heading to the event:
- From the East End of the city (Botanic Gardens): Catch Botanic line trams and disembark at the Adelaide Railway Station Tram Stop.
- From the Southern side of the city (Glenelg): Catch Glenelg line trams and disembark at the Festival Plaza Tram Stop.
- From the Western side of the city (Entertainment Centre): Catch Glenelg line trams or Botanic line trams and disembark at the Adelaide Railway Station Tram Stop.
Leaving the event:
- To the East End of the city (Botanic Gardens): Catch Botanic line trams from the Adelaide Railway Station Tram Stop and disembark at your preferred stop.
- To the Southern side of the city (Glenelg): Catch Glenelg line trams from the Festival Plaza Tram Stop and disembark at your preferred stop. Five additional trams will depart Festival Plaza to Glenelg from 10.20pm.
- To the Western side of the city (Entertainment Centre): Catch Glenelg line trams or Botanic line trams from the Adelaide Railway Station Tram Stop and disembark at your preferred stop.
Road closures
Between 2pm and midnight
- War Memorial Drive - between King William Road and the pedestrian footbridge.
Between 5.30pm and 8.45pm
- Right turn from King William Rd into Victoria Dr closed.
Between 9.30pm and midnight (Buses excepted)
- King William Road - between North Terrace and War Memorial Drive.
- Victoria Drive - between King William Road and Kintore Avenue.
- Sir Edwin Smith Avenue - between Pennington Terrace and King William Road (taxis permitted to travel west bound to access Adelaide Oval).
- Pennington Terrace - between King William Road and Montefiore Road (taxis excepted).
Between 10pm and midnight (Buses and trams excepted)
- North Terrace - between King William Street and Victoria Street.
Bus stop closures
Stop 2 Montefiore Road will be relocated to just south of War Memorial Drive on the Morphett Street bridge from 3pm.
Between 9.15pm and midnight
- Stop 1 King William Road - east and west
- Stop A1, A2 and A3 King William Road
- Z1, Z2 and Z3 King William Road
- Stop 2 Montefiore Road (Inbound)
Taxi ranks
Temporary taxi ranks will be installed at the following locations:
- King William Road - west side, south Pennington Terrace.
- Pennington Terrace - southern side, east of main car park entry and opposite on the northern side.
- Montefiore Road - east side, north of War Memorial Drive.
- War Memorial Drive - east of Montefiore Road (Disabled only).
- Outside the Convention Centre on North Terrace.
- The Casino taxi rank will be closed 10pm to midnight.

Passenger drop off
- Pennington Terrace - southern side on the eastern end (13 vehicles)
