Quick. Easy. Effective.
The Adelaide Metro website and metroMATE app are changing how you plan your journeys.
Customers are now being redirected to Google Maps Journey Planner so they can use a leading product to plan their journeys. Google Maps offers additional functionality including direction narration for improved accessibility, greater update responsiveness, safety sharing features and integrated transport options – all aimed at providing a better service.
Your bus, train and tram journey planning will now be available by Google Maps.
We're providing Google Maps with our Real-Time public transport information including accessible services and school services.
Adelaide Metro website
When you click on "Plan My Journey" you will be directed straight through to the Google Maps journey planner.
metroMATE app
In the app, you will be directed to the Google Maps journey planner once you search for your destination.
You will also be able to tap on any of your previously saved destinations and Google Maps will provide you with your best journey options.
Update your app
You will need to update your metroMATE app by 3 March 2020 to ensure you have access to new Google Maps journey planning.
Using Google Maps journey planner
The Google Maps journey planner looks slightly different from the Adelaide Metro website journey planner however it functions much the same.
