Golden Grove Park n Ride project

Works for the Golden Grove Park ‘n’ Ride Project are planned to commence Wednesday, 17 February 2021, with project completion expected in early 2022, weather permitting.
From 17 February 2021, access to the existing Golden Grove Park ‘n’ Ride will be closed to the public for the duration of construction. During February 2021, and March 2021, alternative temporary parking will be available at the Tea Tree Plaza Interchange Park ‘n’ Ride, located on Smart Road, Modbury.
From April 2021, temporary car parking will be available in a location near the Golden Grove Park ‘n’ Ride. Further updates will be provided closer to this date, including details of the location and access.

Due to feedback from the community, Adelaide Metro is investigating the removal of bus stop 13A Northern Avenue (both sides), West Beach.
If removed, passengers would be required to use stop 13 Ingerson Street (140 metres north-east), or stop 13B Northern Avenue (275 metres west).

Gawler rail line closures

A range of closures are taking place across the Gawler rail line for works on the Gawler Rail Electrification project. These closures range from partial service closures to full line closures, as well as late night or ongoing closures - with substitute buses in place.
The entire Gawler line will be closed between Adelaide and Gawler Central from first service Saturday 26 December (Boxing Day) to last service Sunday 25 April 2021 inclusive (end of School Holidays).

Hospital staff travel FREE on public transport

The State Government is providing Hospital workers FREE travel on South Australia’s public transport system during the coronavirus pandemic to support frontline hospital staff in their lifesaving work to protect the health of South Australians.
This covers doctors, nurses, administration, cleaners and other support staff. Please show your Hospital ID when boarding to take advantage of these services.
Adelaide Metro and the Department for Infrastructure and Transport would like to thank hospital workers during these times.

This is part of our efforts to protect staff and passengers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Services have Priority Seats and Allocated Spaces for passengers less able to stand

Adelaide Metro provides direct and easy access to priority seating on all trains and trams for passengers with a disability, who are pregnant or less able to stand. Allocated spaces are available for passengers with a mobility device.
